Default Plans for gf's 98 Ex, welcome input

So I'm bored and goin over my plans for my gf's 98 Ex, tell me what you think and what you would change.

Engine-4-2-1 headers, 2.25 cat-back chambered exhaust (already have intake and free flow cat) Maybe advance dist. timing ahead 2 degrees as I heard that helps a little. ODBII-I conversion with P28 ECU.

Cosmetics-OEM or OEM alike front and rear lip spoilers, OEM Si spoiler, tint the friggin windows, 16 or 17in Rims (which ever one we can afford lol)

Suspension-here is where I'm still lost. Been reading alot about using OEM Strut and sway bars off a Si or ITR, I would like to do that but for a lil more, is the performance of an aftermarket version better? I know to def. get a beaks kit for a rear lower tie bar. I also wanna look into gettin a chassis brace (X-brace), mild lowering springs with shocks n strut.

That's pretty much it I guess, she doesn't street race or autocross but she does like to spank some ricer *** once in a while on the streets so I look more torque gains and handling matters. After that I suppose it's just maintnence and upkeep until I decided whether or not I want to invest in a FI kit for her car. All input welcome, I guess if there are flamers I can't avoid them, just be gentle lol. Thanks.

hehehehehe, her car is an auto.

Oh yeah, and seeing as how whe won't be making tons of power, I'm just gonna replace her rear drums with Brembo units and powerstop shoes. She already has Powerstop cross-drilled front with AEM pads.

I also need to replace her rear defroster strips and maybe her engine mounts.

You need to determine your goals for the car, then it will be easier to give advice.
If "spanking some ricer ***" is your main concern than the stock motor with bolt ons isn't going to cut it. Also, if she has no plans to autox then there is really no need for all the suspension mods you listed. Oh yeah, please don't tint the windows. Anyway, good luck with her car and keep it clean.

EDIT: just saw that it's an auto, look into getting a swap, maybe an LS to save cash.

If it's auto I say leave it stock, no need to bring all that attention on her ya know? Then thieves will be tempted by the looks of the car...

That's a really good point Ej1Civic, I think realistically, I want her to have a Civic that can pull better than an ordinary one. Most of the Honda's in her town are the ones with APC Windshield Banners. As it stand right now, I'm more looking to have her car be quick off the line which is why I'm concentrating on torque rather than hp which is why I want the 4-2-1 headers and chambered cat-back.

Regarding the suspension, I know it sounds like overkill. But her car car is terrible at the corners on the highway right now. So I guess a mild drop and some OEM sway and strut bars should take care of that correct?

Don't worry bout the tints, only getting 25% in the rear and 35% in the front. A swap is too costly right now.

I am a bit worried about that but she lives in Greenwich CT and she already has my alarm from my old bimmer.

Also, what type of difference is the OBD change going to provide. I'll try to look it up but if someone can just provide a quick answer that would be sweet. Thanks.

Assuming she isn't trying to "spank ricer ***" on a daily basis, I'd say to just hook her up with a ZEX nitrous kit. NOS is pretty user friendly on an automatic, all you have to do is mash the gas pedal and everything is done for you...

I should've added that she doesn't know stick and doesn't wanna learn lol.

I dunno if I want her running gas, cost me too much to refill it cause I know she'll go through it quick
