rota is a good company totally safe and most of h-t rocks them too. best bet is to get the 15's with a good tire usually 195/50/15 is your best bet.

check out the wheel and tire forum more info there than here

check out the sponsors forum for the seller JLBmotorsports that offer great deals on Rota and Konig wheels, i got a set of konig helums and a set of tires from them a while back great company to deal with

205 would be better for the wider grip on the tires, but for some lowerd cars they have been known to rub the wheel wells, i have 205's my self but sits on stock hight and have no rubbing issues

205/50/15 is 23.1" overall diametre where as 195/50/15 is 23.5" overall diamtre, so its actually 1/2" shorter.

however its 10mm wider but unless your slammed ridiculously low (2.5" plus), your fine. i'd lower 2" front, 1.75" rear. its low but not slammed and good for daily driving, any lower and its a pain in the ***.

i'd go 205, alittle more rubber on the road and more choice then 195.

Incorrect. 205/50-15 has a 23.07" diameter, and the 195/50-15 is much shorter at 22.67"

for 205/50 depends on the tire you measure, look at specs of toyo and others, oddly enough.

but your right at the 195/50, i was listing 195/55 for some reason, long night.

red rota gt3's on a white hatch is hott to me. tire size is all depending on the drop. i'm dropped 3 inches in a sol and 205/50/15 rub like hell. so if your planning on dropping 3 dont do it lol. a good 2.25 drop will set you just right and you can run a 205/50 if you choose to, also that drop will rid you of that pesky fender gap that you say you wish to get rid of.

ive heard of them breaking like this while auto x-ing so that would be my guess... i highly doubt they would do it on purpose... thats what happens with cheap aluminum wheels

Hey pal, i wont dog rota but they "are" knock off spoons. I actaually wanted a set for awhile but ended up getting some enkies for like 3 hours worth of work and i think they are great. I wouldnt recomend getting anything wider that 7", because lowering your car is inevitable. Plus it reduces all that flopping around on the highway. I mean its a car not an airplane.

yep, 15's should be just about right. the bigger the rims, the more you have to worry about the road conditions that you'll be driving on. with bigger rims, you need to be more careful around roads with potholes and speedbumps.

you do know that a 15" rim with a 195/50 or 205/50 series tire is almost the same diameter as the stock setup... so you dont need to worry any more than you would with a stock wheel/tire combo... of course you should always avoid potholes and speedbumps but thats just common sense, period... bottom line just dont drive like an ***

i meant it looks like he lost control or something and ran off the road with the tire stil intact. then broke off after being driven offroad. see how the dirt is packed onto the tire? not like the tire just rolled on some dirt.

i dunno... just throwing an idea out there
