My B18 ripped through my stock upper drivers side mount like it was paper so I did a little research and decided to replace it with the Place Racing EK drivers side poly mount that I purchased from jdmhondaparts.com http://www.jdmhondaparts.com/p...1.jpg. Replacing the mount was easy. I took off the 4 bolts from the old mount, put a wood block on my jack and lifted up the engine a little. With the help of a friend and 2 crow bars we finagled the old mount out. The new mount bolted up perfectly. It took a while to get the engine lined up to get the last bolt in but with the help of a friend and 2 crowbars anything is possible. Total time to complete was about 30 minutes. I started the car up and noticed a difference right away. The car hums and vibrates but nothing I won't be able to fix or live with for the difference it made in the car. My civic is like a totally different car now. I can't believe how much one little mount changed the entire feeling of the car. It is so much smoother, I can't even describe how different the car feels. My next step is to order the ES drop in mounts. I can't wait to see how they add to the feel of the car. For $140 the Place Racing mount was worth every penny, it's like I have a new car again.

i got the mount also, it does vibrate more which sucks but its worth it. my friend swapped his car a month ago and blew 2 oem mounts already. when it blew the 2nd time his engine went threw the hood.

i had the same thing happen to my driver's side mount from my b16 swap, but went the way of hasport.

i have the es inserts also, although i had them before the hasports. vibration will increase, but probably not much worse than it is already. with the inserts (including rear) and the place mount, i doubt you would need the j's racing thingee. my motor doesn't budge.

i too got this mount for an oem replacement. And he's right it vibrates like crazy at idle. definetely worth it to get rid of the bounce when dumping the clutch tho!!!

I haven't launched with the mount yet. I'm sure it will be better then that busted OEM one.
