Pistons etc... for my Y8...
I'm planning on upgrading my pistons and rods, possibly honing the block in my Y8. Would ZC rods and pistons be the cheapest and best upgrade, or is there something better I should look for? I'm looking for something low cost that will basically be stronger. I do plan on boosting in the near future...

I boosted my Y8 motor with a used greddy turbo kit for about 900 bucks. I'm running 10 psi right now, and with open downpipe should be making 200-210whp.
All motor SOHCs are gay, HP/$ wise.

bone stock. go to http://www.turbod16.com and look under the Turbo setups section, then click on "top turbod16 dyno list" and check out what people have made with various turbo setups.

I'd say the LS rods with the Crowder adapter thing is the way to go, the rods will run you ~$40 tops. Might as well have them shot peened if u can.
