Default piston question

i have a d seris and i did a mini me swap, now my compression in a 10:1. i wana turbo it but thats a bit high of a compression so i was ether going to swap the pistions or get a thicker head gasket. any ideas personal experinces would be great. thank you ahead of time.

10:1 is not too high if you run the right octane and have a good tune. but yes a thicker headgasket will help lower it.

Usually around $80-$100. Since the head is off it wont hurt to get it milled to ensure that its perfectly flat to get the best seal. Then again that will bring your compression up slightly so you might not want to.

you can run ALOT higher boost than that... if it was built..

Forged pistons and rods would help out quite a bit.
