piston to deck clarence?

Default piston to deck clarence?

im building a b20b/vtec and since i already searched but couldnt find anything i need to no if i put gsr rods in my stock b20b block with a stock b16a3 head if i would have a clarence for the pistons to the head please help

thanks i might have to try that as long as the clay dont hit the piston im straight....

I think you are going to run into some big issues here.

B20/LS rod length 5.394"
b18C Rod Length 5.433"

so that means your piston is going to be going .039" Higher than if you used the right Rod.

IF you wanna run the GSR rods then just get a GSR crank

that combination will get you a 9.9 cr with the pistons sticking out of the block .006".

IMHO not worth it. you can get a higher CR by changing pistons instead of the rods. but while your at it you might as while change out both rods and pistons.

yea i already had that in my favorites thanks though thats y i asked the question cause i checked it and the clarence was -.006 or so
