PINK lugnuts on ROTA SLIPSTREAM
Need lugs quick!
Alright heres the issue, I bought RAYS pink lugnuts for my 97 GSR swapped Hatch with Flat Black Rota Slipstream (16X7). My mechanic just finished my swap and told me that my lugs dont fit on my car ( I have 94-01 integra front and rear brake assemblies ).
He says that the rays ones are made for rays wheels.
I dont want to have to buy regular lugs, are there some that will fit my assemblies with my rota slipstreams?
Thanks guys!

I'm pretty sure they will fit. But why good lugnuts on cheap wheels is beyond me...

No he is not an idiot. He is trying to save your pathetic *** from having a wheel come loose. Just because they thread on does not mean that they seat against the wheel properly. They are meant for a certain wheel for a reason, the shape of the end of the lug nut is different than the shape of all of the wheels except for the ones they were specifically designed to fit.

Listen to the man the seat of the rota wheel is alot different than other aftermarket wheels out there ......if you use the rays lugs and they thread but not properly you risk the chance of vibrations shaking a lug or few off and damaging more than you ego just go buy the proper ones and save you self the headache...........GUESS WHAT HAPPEN TO ME TODAY.......

Re: PINK lugnuts on ROTA SLIPSTREAM (black_EM1)
Cheap wheels?
Thanks for the comment, Im sure theres alot of guys out there with Rota.
I can only have my rims on here for about half the year (thats pushing it) and for the price i paid I think there pretty good.
The lugs dont seat properly I just need to know which ones will...
I have a set on right now but there chrome silver and I hate it.

No, not really. They are 60* taper like the majority of other aftermarket wheels out there.

I wouldn't advise that; it's a liability. Use the proper lug nuts for your wheels. Honda lug nuts have a ball seat and don't properly engage the Rota wheel, which requires nuts with a 60-degree taper seat.

Re: (ahthisguyhere)
thr actual lugnut type doesnt matter its the type of inside it has compared to the wheel. conical, dished, ball. notice how they differ from a stock one, most after market wheels take conicals

The lugs fit in the seat no problem. The Rotas are conical and so are the lugs (RAYS). But the Rays sit in the outer seat but the lugs I have a now go all the way through.
Are there tuner lugs (pink ones preferably) that would fit perfectly in my Rota slipstreams?
And ya ill keep my lugs until i get Rays wheels!!! LOL
