Pin Stripe Removal

Re: Pin Stripe Removal (Mrfirefox)
A heat gun or blow dryer works great..but depending on how long the pinstripe was on the car, the adhesive may etched itself into the clear coat of the paint and will be noticeable upon removal..

Re: Pin Stripe Removal (BreakStuff)
"Goo Gone" or similar product. It was great for me. Works much faster than just heating it up, plus with some work it pretty much gets rid of any residual marks from the stripe being on a long time. *It is safe on paint of course!

Use a butterknife and scrape them off......no, just playing. I used a blowdryer and just held it there and carefully peeled them off. Do it slow and carefully, it's easier.

Re: Pin Stripe Removal (dee-ecks)
it also depends on how old the pinstripe is. we took off the pinstripe off a 96 gsr and that was a bizatch. used alot of old fashioned elbow grease

Re: Pin Stripe Removal (Vtec Goblin)
use any solvent, just not a really strong one that hurts the paint though, I've use gasoline or 88cents pure alcohol bottle to get the darn oil reminder stickers off my windshield when I have the oil changed.
I know its retarded but its cheap and it works.
