Pin removal from ECU plug
Been having a hard time removing the pins from the plug. There's gotta be a better way to do this, somebody help!

what manual? i did not see any thing useful. i was told i could just hit it with some small object. is there another way?

You have to lift the tab thats inside the plug then pull the wire out the opposite way. Its not hard at all i dont see why you have a problem.
Also theres white "locks" that you have to take out just pop them up.

its not easy by any means. there is a tab to pull down on both sides but thats all.
white locks? i dont see anything white.
im just having a hard time cuz i can only use about 50lbs of pressure in my left hand. its jacked up. ill keep trying to just pull them out with the side flaps down. Thanks

What obd plugs are you working with? The ones like in your picture? If so see how its spread open on the top? Thats the spot where the connector goes into. You pop those locks up, stick a percission in the other side, lift the tab and pull then wire out.
obd2 has the white lock i was talking about. And it takes less then 2 pounds of pressure to take these out.
