Pics of my dirty *** car...
So, I finally got access to a (shitty) digicam, so I was finally able to take some pics of my car after being lowered, and with the center caps on the Koseis.
First off...in the beginning...
Then...
Now
Yes, I know the pics are crappy quality...stupid old 1.3 megapixel digicam...bleah. That's the highest res too...ick.
I know, it's barely lowered at all. I'm just waiting for some stunna to be all "Hey dude...when are you going to lower your car?" It's H&R Sports with some AGX's.
I can still go over speedbumps without scraping and everything. Ride is definitely harsher than stock, but the handling improvement is well worth it. I hardly ever rub my tires with the shocks set at 2f/3r as they are now, only when I hit a hard bump in a fast turn. I've never rubbed with it set up to 3f/4r.

Looks good man! I like those wheels on your car.
Your interior looks about as clean as mine too...
BTW, you're the Mojo-jojo from Ars Technica, right?

Ender's Game is a fawking sweet book. Nice wheels too, although I think white would look even better. What's under the hood?

Under the hood is basically the stock D16Z6. AEM CAI and new NGK wires, since I was changing the plugs and one of the old wires BROKE as I was pulling it off the plug.
Engine ran smoother after that...wonder why.

Heheh...
eBay, a bit over $20.
I saw the **** on SRR's website, and was like...hey, let's see what SRR stuff is on eBay.
Oddly enough, there was ONE on there, and a couple other SRR things, but that was it, and I haven't seen any since.
Thankfully, it was the blue one.
It's kind of wierd though...it's just one big chunk of silicone...so when you screw it on the first time, you're literally cutting the threads into it.
I had to put all my upper body weight on it, and TWIST really hard to get it to break into the silicone the first time. I was worried that it might go on crooked since you have to force it so much.
So...don't buy a used one....not sure how well they'd handle going from shifter to shifter to shifter without the interior of the **** disintegrating into little silicone chunks.

Re: Pics of my dirty *** car... (Hooch at 8400-RPM)
That's actually just a couple days after dusting. Pretty clean outside there.
You should see what happens after a week or two.
My girlfriend has a horse, and the driveway of the stable where she boards is dusty as hell.
You pull in, and the car just gets coated in dust, inside and out.

Oh, yeah.
Wait a minute...you don't have the BBS style split spoke wheels on your car do you? I remember someone posting pics of their black Civic with wheels like that on Ars, but I seem to remember them having a hatch...
Funny that there are two Ars members here, but none on any of the other Honda forums...wonder why...
