You DO NOT need the si surround, I am rocking an si grill with a stock dx surround. Honda wants like 60 dollars for the si surround so why get one.

Hmmmm....ok, one says it does, and one says it doesnt, ok so the molding WILL fit the oem grille backing piece, you did the same I did?, and used the dx molding, for the si, grille piece?

Damn it, son. Just get the grille and try to fit it in the DX bezel. If you can't make it fit/mutilate the DX surround in the process, just order the SI surround.
We're not talking about an exhaust manifold or a distributor. Your car will run whether the grille looks cool or not. Patience will save you money

I believe all mesh grills are black. and I don;t know why the bezel wouldn;t come painted seeing as the jdm ctr grill comes painted from optauto.com

Re: Pics of my *****!!!and a grille Question!!! (mikwon)
yeah, they won't come painted silver from honda since the bezel is for the si, which didn't come in silver as i'm sure you know. in that picture of black2kcivic's grille it doesn't look too bad with those ribs visible. it looks sort of mean. grrr... maybe just try it on with the dx bezel and see if the ribs bother you too much. if so, you're going to have to fork out the dough...
