Pics of the EM1... Now the question is, stick with All Motor or go Dark Side with Turbo.....
Hey all. I realized I have never posted up pictures of my car in this forum, so I went and took a bunch of pics today. Enjoy the pics.
Now, so far I've had really good results all-motor, let's just say better than most EM1 owners. The fact remains that all-motor 1.6L's are impressive when they are fast, but they take a lot of money to get there. I already have $3000 into the engine, which sits me mid to low 14's on street tires. Now all-motor, I would be happy if I could reach consistant 13.7's on street tires in my beast, but it'll still take a lot of money to get there. Probably the easiest way would be to build a bottom end, since I already have decent bolt-ons and an OK head going on.
Now the other option would be turbo. This is super tempting because I am addicted to the torque of boost, and more importantly, the endless amounts of power you can make in the long run.
Basically what I'm asking is, what are your previous experiences? Have you switch from all-motor to turbo, or turbo to all motor, and been happy? Post your previous experiences.
Thanks for looking.

Build the bottom end, buy a good fuel set-up, and go turbo.
Who needs 13.7s when you can have 12s on street tires?

It's an ES Oval muffler with custom 2.5" piping, and a POS Generic tip cut to size.
Thanks for the comments and suggestions so far. Actually surprised to see the amount of people recommending boost.

Nice car
Go GSR block with JDM B16 pistons + Hondata.
Love the valve cover. Is the intake painted to match? Looks superb.
