Pic Request: JDM ECU and USDM ECU (P72)
I have a pic request for both of these ecu's together. How could i tell if my Ecu is a JDM or not. I think it is cause the motor is JDM and it was a complete swap but the ecu doesnt look like it. TIA

JDM ECU is half the size of the USDM OBDI ecus.
looking at the barcode you can usually tell if the code reads:
37820-P72-000 or 001 or N01 or J00 and so on. Means JDM ecu
while USDM Ecus are 37820-p72-A00 or C00 or alike .
thanks to katman again, visual aid.

Re: Pic Request: JDM ECU and USDM ECU (eg6ajk)
Question though... I've had an OBD-II USDM P72, and a OBD-I P72 JDM ECU currently (only one I could find at the time)... is there any program difference, besides the OBD garbage (say the difference between a JDM and a USDM OBD-I ECU).
