I'm kinda old, so forgive me here. I remember that at least 3/4 of the really fast cars in town were primer gray over most if not all of the body, dented all to hell, or at least really dirty. So, you see, there are people out there that will assume you are spending your money on important engine and suspension mods instead of wasting it on a merely showy wash job.
Besides, I find that lots of dirt keeps other drivers from parking too close to me.
