Does ne one have the PIAA Super Plasma Bulbs used for headlights? How are these bulbs, are they a good set or like s%*t? thinking of getting some ? ne feed back would be great

I have them, but they're on my shelf waiting for my car to be given back to me so i can install them. Ill tell you what the look like after i mess around on Sunday

I had them in my EK, i really liked them. Slightly purple hue when looking at the headlight. Overall an interesting/good color, but not worth the money.

Be careful using aftermarket bulbs. I used some once that were 90/100W I think, whereas the stock were 55/60 or something like that. After using them awhile my connectors got too hot and it melted them. It wasn't pretty.

If you would have read further, you'd of noticed they were PIAA's, which produces 135/120 but draws 65/55.

haha... "produces". like there's some sort of inverter in the bulb.

your light output with the PIAA bulb will SEEM brighter since the light is more blue. however, the coating will reduce actual measure Lumens. As with most dyed/colored "superwhite" bulbs, you'll loose output over stock bulbs. IMO, either go HID or stick with OEM sylvanias. nothing else is worth it.

I said the difference because the other guy had assumed they suck an actual 110w. Yes there is a way to increase wattage w/o increasing power draw....Kinda like how energy star bulbs produce 60w of light but draw 15w of power. I doubt it's as dramatic as what PIAA claims but syvanias vs. PIAA's.....i can see a difference in the amount of actual light. I've had both.

I got a set for free when I first got my car. I used them about 8 months before they gave up. Slightly purple hue to the lights, and I really did like them, but I couldn't justify spending the money to replace them.
