I used an OBX muffler when i was boosted. no complaints.

but i don't know about their cat-backs. in some of the pics, the piping looks crush-bent. I wouldn't buy one.

I bought a full 2.5" OBX type-H catback system for my 4thgen Accord for $225+Shipping from www.ssautochrome.com in NC. All the bends are mandrel-bent, by the way. I have never seen a stainless system that isn't. I liked the system, except for the blingin' 2.5"->4.5" polished tip. So I hacked it off with an air cut-off tool and sold it for $10 on eBay. Then I painted the back end of the muffler flat black with high-heat manifold paint. It's tucked way up under there, behind the class-I receiver hitch. They (the cops) can't even see the custom exhaust, which is good for me. The system sounds pretty good on my accord, and the place I bought it from was cool as well.

Summary: cheaper than a stock exhaust system, and will last forever.

I had a friend with an OBX cat back on his car and he had no complaints. I had one of their mufflers as does my friend with a Probe. No complaints.

OBX is a low quality exhaust system. IMO they sound raspy, poppy, and ricey, and they don't have proven performance gains. I would never recommend anything OBX to anyone except their fire extinguishers.

Don't know about the cat backs but on my old del sol I had an obx header and it made an exhuast that sounded semi decent to and overly loud, obnoxious, raspy exhuast that I hated...I wouldn't waste my money. Go to a muffler shop and have them make u a custom set up

...That's why you need something larger than 2.0L to to attach to it. Mine is relatively quiet, and deep & mellow on acceleration.....or maybe it's just the turbo
