performerX IM on a Y7 motor
hey guys im looking to buy a Performer X intakemanifold for my car. cant afford it to be down too long. Can you tell me exactly what im going to be running in to it as far as if i need Y8 parts, Etc. thanks for the people that help. FU for the people that flame

really? do i need everything off the Y8 manifold. like injectors, fuelrail, throttle body. am i going to run into any enginelights. Thanks for your Info

dont know that much about it, but what I do know is that its the Type R of D series manifolds, along with the y8 exhaust manifold. They are the best flowing manifolds that came stock on D series engines. Also people have been known to lose power when ugrading from y8 to skunk 2 manifolds. Just look it up man

i have a complete y8 manifold for your y7 if you need to /shameless plug. yea the performer x is nice but if your not gonna build you y7 for something bigger and better just go with the y8 manifold. when i did it, it was all plug and play.

The Y8 manifold sucks. PERIOD.
The Z6 flows better up top. The Y8 will provide more midrange.
The skunk2 manifolds runners are too long to make it worth buying.
