Performer X vs Victor X
seach ended up w/ nothing...
how do these two manifolds compare to each other on say a B16A and a B18C5?
at what point would you swap over to the victorX? is the PerformerX any better than a stock ITR manifold? also has anyone discoverd a set of a cams that would work well with either of these manifolds while still retaining the stock bottom end.

Re: Performer X vs Victor X (duggy)
One is CARB legal, the other's not(not sure which is which). go to there site and you can get more info...thaty's all I know off the top of my head. but yes the victor x is only for Bseries and is meant for gains in the extreme top end of RPMs (like 8-10k or something like that)

Re: Performer X vs Victor X (fmrprojects)
Performer X just came out for B series recently. Were going to put it on our All motor car. The Victor X is a great manifold and thats staying on the Turbo car. I think the long runners are great for all motor.

CA isn't the only state that should worry about what is carb legal or not. unless you don't plan on passing inspections.

Really? I didn't know that.
In new york/NJ you don't have to worry about it. I doubt you have to worry about it in SC too.

Go Tigers!
In south carolina I can put a carb'd 1975 small block chevy in a civic with open headers and rev at cops all day long.
We don't have vehicle inspections here.

that's what im thinking. it would probably hurt your low end and mid range unless you have a fully built engine to work with.
