Default Performance Upgrades

Hey im new to the civic scene and recently just gto a 97 civic ex. I previously has a car that was a good deal faster than the civic, about mid 15 second quarter car. I know alot of people add exhausts/intake but the differece in power is not substancial. Are there any cheaper modifications for my particular engine that will add noticable power.

Could i possibly swap some parts for stuff from an integra?

Sorry if this all sounds stupid i really am new to hondas

You can't directly swap in integra engine parts onto your civic motor..your gonna need a B series motor for that.
