Do you have the plastic block off piece next to the radiator? I'm wondering if taking that out will help air flow to the motor and maybe keep it cooler..

I took mine out. I took out all the plastic around the
bumper and it was fine. I live on a dirt/gravel driveway
and it dosent get dirty like people say.

it actually keeps the motor cooler, Williard posted a topic like that in the hybrid forum a long time ago.
it was tested on an EH with b18c5 motor at VIR i think, and the engine temperates were cooler with it in place..

Re: ? for people without A/C (navin)
I thought that might be the case, but there are 2 ways of looking at it:
1: take it out, and more air will flow around the motor since if I had a/c that's what would happen after flowing throught the condensor.
2: Leave it in -> some of the air that would be flowing straight to the motor is now forced to go through the radiator, thereby providing better cooling....
So...i dunno
