well, if you saw the car, inspected it, and agreed to buy it AS IS, it is your fault for breaking the agreement. of course it has to be on the paper somewhere for him to prove that you agreed to buy it. is there a contract or something? if no, you may be able to get away with it. it is wrong though, unless he tricked you into getting it and ripped you off.
