people with gutted rears (balancing weight)
How do you guys balance weight because your rear is a lot lighter than the front.
Here's something I know I can do
-relocate battery to rear
-cf hood
-rear spoiler
-front firewall mat (if that even makes a difference)
what else would you guys do?

My solution was keeping every thing in the back. I hate hot weather so AC had to stay. And mines a DX so no powersteering to begin with. And its my DD so as much sound deadening as i can

well to do it correctly you should get a non PS rack n Pinon or it will just mess up your Ps rack and pinon Depends on if your drag racing it or track racing. Honestly the steering rack would weigh the most mabey 40 or 50 lbs but not a real significant diff AC is a very small wieght diff but if its professional then its worth it but if its a DD then it would just be annoying with out PS.. take it from me

not too heavy. the pump is the heaviest. probably worth it to keep it. I just pulled mine so I just said it but its not really gonna help.

lighter header, plastic headlamps, remove front rebar (probably too dangerous and not worth it). Lighter front LCA, but all that costs money haha.

Adjust the suspension. Is this a daily driver? If it is then relocation is a bit extreme. CF panels, lighter wheels. Other than that just use a large rear sway and maybe run a staggered front wheel/tire setup.

NO im not cutting my roof off. lol
i heard they make CF roofs. but they are caps not roof replacements.
and the metal roof would prolly help keep it stiff until i get a cage
we could fab up a cf bolt on dealy for the other 4dr. a hardtop like a S2000.

s2kworks makes a full roof piece. If you were to rivet it in place it would probably be just as rigid as the previous roof if not more. you can lose a bit of weight doing this but its a bit much and quite a surgery(gotta pull windshield/ rear window). people say it will compromise the integrity of the chassis and this would be true anywhere else. However the roof is so flimsy as it is already that it might even help.
Is this a 4 door? If so I think you got the wrong car to do this to but to each his own.

I leave the spare tire in at track days, seems to help weigh down the back somewhat, really gets scary when the back steps out under braking
