Default People with ES Hypflex kits

I've got pretty much the whole kit figured out. The front end is all put together.

Only question I have is regarding the ball joing covers. For the steering arms, and the ball joint where the a arm meets the upper arm. The covers they tell me to use are very small, and don't seem to cover the ball joint up. Did you guys use those bushings? Any pictures of what it should look like?

I used the ball joing covers for the lower ball joing (bottom where a arm meets lca). I put that on and it covered most of the ball joint and when i torqued everything down it coved it up reall well.

Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

i installed them the first time i did a kit and won't do it again, you really don't gain anything buy doing them all that happens is that they dont make a good seal and crap gets in them, i would recomend staying with the stock ones if they are still good

so you remove the sealed boot and use the ES stuff? They aren't covers like the bottom ones were?

I installed a prothane kit last summer and used all their covers. Those things suck. I recomend you stay stock. They crack easily and dont hold a seal well.

I left the factory ones on, and still used the es ones. No problems doing it that way.
The factory one keeps the elements out, and the es is under it making it stiffer.

i was gonna do that. but the two i described above, were too small to cover the stock bushings. the one at the bottom fit nicely.

i really dont' think theyse are designed to replace your stock ball joint rubber.

Your right it won't cover it, but they sit underneath it. I wouldn't take the original off. I know it looks strange when you hold it up there, but once you tighten everything you'll see.
