Default Pedal response lag D16Y8

I have a 98 Honda Civic DX that I just bought a few days ago the engine has a d16y8 block, d16z6 head, also built and boosted on 28 psi with a big garret t70 turbo. Car has been running fine no problems there is only 8,000 miles on the build. Recently i was driving and my gas pedal would cut out and my car would jerk making it look like i didnt know how to drive stick lol. I replaced the tps and the symptoms went away for about a day and half until my car started doing the same thing. I got out popped the hood and disconnected the tps and connected it again, this got me home in 1st gear but started cutting out again. Thinking maybe i have a connection issue with my tps? Any suggestions on what else it may be?

Still in the learning process of all these things. It is street tuned, not dyno, however i have had no problems with it until now the tune was fine.

Correctly adjust the ignition timing. If problem persists, get a real tune.

Your tps likely is not the problem. Is your civic “jerking” at partial throttle? Does it go away when applying more throttle? How is your idle quality?

It jerks mid throttle then cuts out doesnt respond after that even with more throttle. My idle is not consistent it almost wants to die when sitting.

Sounds like the ecu is cutting fuel.
What type of engine management is installed?
