what kinda of idle problems are you having?.....

did you replace with OEM pcv?

did you do it correctly?

a lot of things can affect idle

Remove air intake system and then use your finger to cover the hole inside the TB leading either to the IACV or FITV. Does covering one of these two holes make the idle speed steady and settle down?

Do the TB hole tests and also set the ignition timing to spec. Then reset the ECU.

im 90% sure he meant crap aftermarket parts in general... get a oem honda one. still wont fix your main problem but then at least you can rule out crap parts

If replacing the PCV caused things to get worse, then that means you have a vacuum leak. If you feel the PCV valve is defective, you can always tests it by pointing your nose up, placing the part that goes into the engine into your mouth (after cleaning) then suck and blow into it. If you can blow but not suck on it, then it's working perfectly, otherwise it's not working right.

However, you need to fix the vacuum leak you have. Typically replacement of the PCV valve making things worse indicates a vacuum leak. Check for damaged/old vacuum hoses, such as the one you use to connect to your PCV valve! Car is 20 years old, those vacuum hoses are likely cracked and damaged.

No. Clean and adjust the FITV (click FITV link in my signature).

ive got an extra fitv that i used that link on i just havent had the chance to put it on yet i had to go to menards to get new orings for it which will make it extremely fun to put on because the orings just pop right back out of the holes where they're suppose to go
