PCV Valve for B16 is .... $$ 21.00 !!!!!! WTF

Default PCV Valve for B16 is .... $$ 21.00 !!!!!! WTF

I have 155,000 miles on my B16 DelSol and was tring to do all the maintience on it......well, I tried to get a PCV valve for it all AutoZOne, Oreilly's, ABC.....

and they said Dealer item.......

Well, at Honda it is 21 dollars for PCV valve....WTF !!!

Can I just use any ole' valve ? or maybe put a breather on instead....or will that hurt my motor ?

Umm I don't think $21 is too much for a pcv valve.

each dealer has their own set of prices, shop around among the Honda dealers.

if you have smog get it..that seems a reasonable price.

People are kind of cheap nowadays, especially for parts they need.

Just get it. You can't be THAT broke.

advance auto has them for cheap
i think i got my there for less tehn $10

no, not any ole' valve will work, it has a set vaccuum on it. and $21 for a genuine honda OE piece... sounds good to me, a semi steep price for a pcv valve, but its OE from the manufacturer.
or you can get the purolator pcv from advance, we sell lots of em.. idk how good they are though.

p.s. i hate working at advance autoparts.

yeah thats a okay price, id get it. the **** that sucks was my trunk panel, which is a piece of cardboard with 3 foam squares glued to it, and they wanted 149$ so i told em to suck the right one then suck the left one.

i just bought one today from AutoZone for under $3. do you still have your B16 Del Sol? know anybody sellin' a USDM P30 by any chance?

just go to home depot or to loews and make one yourself. it will be even better. make it wider than tha factory ones.
