Default pcv valve 98 honda civic ex

I know this may be stupid to ask but in realitly there is no such thing as a stupid question. Where may i find my pcv valve for a 98 civic ex. I know that I can get the part its only $2.50 were i work at autozone but having trouble finding it. And also does it cause a problem with gas mileage or anything like that? And would it cause an idleing problem?

Yes might cause idle issues, shouldnt affect mpg, its located in the middle of the intake manifold

Back of the block, by/above the fuel filter. It's in the black box.

You should be able to get to it from above.

you can always remove ur throttlebody and its much easier to remove it from there also just throwing it out there 2.50 for a pcv u get what you pay for

honda oem PCV was like 15 but it makes you sleep better at night

It is part #3 below.

A failed PCV valve can cause MPG to go down and oil leaks at seals such as the oil pan gasket. I replace mine every 100k miles. I buy only OEM PCV valves. I clean mine about every other oil change with PB Blaster. I would not expect a bad PCV valve to cause an idling problem, apart from running rich.
