Default pcv valve?

I have oil comming out of my breather on my valve cover. Is this due to a bad pcv valve, and if so where is it located on a 99-00 civic si b16?

Did you put too much oil in your motor? I have seen this cause the dip stick to shoot out of the block and oil went every where.

Of course you will have oil coming out of your beather, it is only paper thin and designed for filtering oxygen, not oil. So in your case, oil will seep through. I would recommend connecting your intake to your valve cover breather.

The PCV valve does not effect the amount of oil that will come out the beather, technicaly. However, just in case, to check your PCV valve, take it out and shake up and down, if it does not click, replace it!

I would, but I dont think that would work well with the charge pipe on my turbo kit.

yes that is the pcv valve. on the gs-r motors it is directly on the black box like how its pictured above. for the other motors is is held on the intake manifold but the hose is connected to the same spot.
