Default Patching holes in plastic

When I had money and could afford fun toys, I had my boost gauge and oil pressure gauge mounted on the pillar. The pillar cluster that I used required drilling of holes in the pillar and I also had to drill a hole for wires and tubes and whatnot. My question is this, now that I dont use this stuff I have these ugly holes in the pillar.....I have already painted most of the plastic parts in my car black, so I dont mind patching the hole and repainting I just dont know what to use. Anyone have experience with this?? I dont want to patch it with something that is going to fall out years from now, I want it to last.

Any help would be appriciated, thanx
