Chances are that your cooling system is perfectly sufficient for your current setup. If it isn't there are other cooling upgrades that will have a more significant impact that this part. Either way, it's not terribly expensive and some people like the appearance that it provides. If I were going to perform a modification of similar cost, I'd probably pick up or construct an earthing kit instead.

Unless you have a ridiculously cool track car, then it's not likely to be a worthwhile upgrade.

Do you have cooling issues from oil getting too hot heading to the grocery store? If not, then don't get it.

Agreed.

That $70 could be put towards an upgraded radiator or fan if you were running into cooling problems that were radiator/fan related.

^^ X2, just looks. Invest in somehtng more worthwhile if you are having issues, such as a better fan, aluminum rad, or even aftermarket engine coolant (cant remember names off hand)

not worth it, save that 70 on something useful man. Lots of junk out there because its just marketable.

I have one, I did not buy it. I got the weksos one new for free, through a purchase of parts from a cool seller. I could not believe this was $70-80+.

I really dont see the function of this besides placing a cover over the ugly can-sprayed radiator part. It would look much better if i can have it over on top the front bumper where it hinges off of, instead of having the plate inserted between the rad support and the bumper.

Im a noob... what is QFT?

If I were ever to purchase a "cooling plate" it would be to take it to an engineer at my work and have him CAD a similiar design so that I could send it to our machine shop and produce a handful of them for myself and friends.
