I dont even see how someone can install it incorrectly.
But just do an auto to man conversion before you buy any performace parts.
But if your keeping it auto and want an intake I would just buy an Ebay one and put a K&N there is no need to drop in the password one.

The only way it could possibly do damage is if it's a CAI and you suck up water and hydro lock your engine. Otherwise you're G2G. Before I did my auto to manual swap I had a short ram intake. If you do your intake and your exhaust you'll notice the most ~ 5 HP. It's mostly sound though.

There really is not much of a difference. You could buy an Ebay one and stick a K&N Filter on it and call it a day if you like.
I have a AEM SRI and I really like it's quality. I would recommend it. It's up to you though. You're not racing time trials or anything so if I were you I would stay cheap.

I say buy the CF intake and put it on because for only $100 your not losing really & if you ever decided to do a B-series swap(manual of course) than it would benefit you greatly.
