ok, this dbag was going to buy my car, he went to take it to a shop to have it looked at, i had to work so i let him take it. It blizzarded that night and he called and said hes just going to keep it at his place that night, the next day he stoped at walmart to grab some stuff on the way back to my place. "soposedly" some lady with a truck and no insurance backed into him and f up the bumper fender and part of the door on the passenger side. he bought a new fender and bumper for it and said hed have a buddy paint it. i didn't see the damage till he brought it back. turned out it crumpled the very front like 3-4 inches of the door too. then his fiance had some "problems" since she was pregnat and he decided he couldn't buy the car anymore. we didn't have anything other than a formal oral agreement either.

1st: should i call the cops or something or try to take it to small claims court? if so how?

2nd: the fender and the bumper don't bother me cuz i was going to replace them and paint them if i kept the car anyway. but what the cheapest way about getting a door and how much am i looking at from like a junk yard or something.

3rd: yes i know im a fing tard for doing this, but he seemed guinuine(sp?)

any comments/flaming/suggestions would be absoultly wonderfull since in jumping the civic, i f ed up the fender on my ranger from the arm on a dumpster.

im going to go yell at myself now for being such a dumb ***

I have a 98 civic DX. and i got a new door for it for like 200$ if you have options like windows and locks, its going to be more. A friend got his for even cheaper, so call all the junkyards and ask doing a door swap is not hard. Just keep in mind, that you will have to change the locks. But that is not hard.

i guess thats not too bad, fricken sucks still, i donsn't have any of that rittsy crap. and its a 93 so i guessing it would be cheaper. do doors off a four door fit?

well im not supposably expecting you to do it, but my action would just to act in a nice way to tell him iT'z no big deal . . be a mann come on now . . he has a girl thats pregant the least thing to do is try to say its okay . . if u want to take the parts and have em repainted then do so if thatz' what makes you satisfied . . overall tho he has a kid on the way and id' even get worse if you made a problem over the car . . just be a mann and leave it as it is . . also maybe . . just MAYBE . . he might name his kid after you . . hehehehe . .

* and no . . doors off a 4-door honda civic sedan doesnt fit . .

ive by no mean done anything except be as understanding as possible, its just the fact that my cars fudged up for no reason now and that makes me sad
