Parting out the Civic (Comptech sway / tie related)
So I'm putting my car back to stock, and pulled my Comptech sway / tie bar combo off yesterday. It wasn't coming back to me how I had put it on, so I went to the website to d/l the instructions as a refresher, but it looks like they're not making parts anymore.
I was going to put it up for sale, but are these desireable anymore? I remember when the red anodized were discontinued, they went for crazy money. I didn't find anything about the part or company in here or on the classifieds. Just curious if it's even worth putting up.
Oh, and PfC:

The Tire Tail? Legal as a bike carrier, just make sure your plate is visible.
So... anyone know anything about the Comptech sway / tie? lol

Re: (AutoXer)
CT-Engineering took over Comptech.
From the look of it on their website, they dont offer the sway bar setup anymore, but they still sell replacement parts.

Seriously? Was this used? I think that's near or maybe even more than I paid new...
So there is still some interest in these then?

Re: (AutoXer)
If the price is right, im sure someone will buy it.
I bought mine for 230 used, but ive seen the red ones go for 350, but that was when they were desirable.

Cool, thanks for the info. Glad there's still some interest out there; I was starting to feel stupid for not pulling it off two years ago when I first thought of doing it.

I was going to get some this weekend. It was pretty dirty when I took it off, since I'm in the northeast and I heavily grease everything before and after winter to make sure everything will come apart at some point
I'll take some and post them up...

Re: (g3teg97)
Well, I forgot all about this post until I got an IM about it.
I unfortunately didn't get any pics of it on the car, but it looked real hot. The swaybar has some corrosion on it, but the way it mounts, you can't even see it. All you see is the tie bar.
