Don't WASTE your money - buy the CHEAPER 1997 CR-V a/c bracket.

If you want to keep you power sterring and dont have one of the extended deck height blocks (aka b18c or b20) you need the delsol bracket. If you have one of the extended deck height blocks than the crv bracket will work.

Here are the part numbers:

38930-P7J-000 CRV Bracket
38930-P54-000 Del Sol Bracket

This is correct. I learned the hard way.

If I get the CRV part number 38930-P7J-000 CRV Bracket then i'll be able to use my Civic Compressor and keep power steering? I have a B18, by the way.

I want to make sure I order the correct bracket from Honda. So the only difference between the CRV bracket and the Del Sol bracket is the price? Taking into consideration that I have a B18. From what i've gathered, if I had a B16 then I would NEED the Del Sol Bracket. Thanks.

Can anybody chime in on this? Thanks.

Only the b18c and b16b motors have the extended
deck height motor. So with a b18b you would need the delsol bracket to keep your ps.
