Parasitic Drain???
I have a 94 Civic Dx. The owner who had the car before has did alot of hack jobs with electrical components. He i guess was lazy so put power and ground about anywhere he wanted and just electrical tape the bitch together. So my Cluster has stopped working completely everything the fuel guage, speedo, rpm, my clock doesnt work, my rear signal turn lights dont work from the swith but they come on with the hazards. The radio stopped working. And when i checked out under the steering wheel the people that installed the alarm didnt take the old one off so there are two shock sensors but I took them off. Mostly nothing inside the interior doesent work but the brake and headlights. Now thats all that work. I was driving one day and the cluster stopped working completely. But I have tried the fuses, relays, tried a voltage drop, and tried a differsnt cluster that i knew worked and it has 12 volts but nothing stll works except for the srs light and headlight lights. Also importantly the guy who had my car had different fuse amperages that were alot higher in some spots like a 15amp in a 7..5 but they are now at there oringal amperage. So i guess where should i start i am not electrical savy at all. This is really stressing me out cause I cant tell if there was to be a check engine light or dont know how much fuel I have and what temp the motors running at. PLZ HELP thx

if the harness is in as bad of shape as it sounds you could find yourself chasing electrical gremlins to no end. you may want to consider pulling the dash and replacing the cabin harness altogether.

Re: Parasitic Drain???
in the long run replacing your cabin harness will save you TIME, MONEY AND AGGRAVATION, it would definitely be your best bet.

p.s. the good thing is that most people leave the cabin harnesses alone in the junk yards
