Painting seat fabric?
Got a crazy deal on a del sol driver's seat but it has a red stripe (which would look awful in my car).
Question is - has anyone successfully painted cloth before? I guess I'd hit it with black... But I don't want it melting in the sun and staining my back or anything...

Why not just get it reapolstered(sp)? Or get the OEM seat covers that are all grey. They sell them on ebay for like 100 bones

looks like it might be kinda fishy... 3/4ths can on the seat. i think it would stain shirts if it got real hot.
i live in az so i dont think that would work out here. i dunno i might be wrong

CIRCUITSI YO ! ........................... the fabric paint will not melt . It will smell the car up bad. I painted my carpet because it was stained red with HAWAII PUNCH. The smell will last for a long time. The car still smells like the fabric paint when i open the door on a hot day. The die will not work i dont think my .02........... and if you do use fabric paint that place you spray will feel rough to the touch.
