Painting headlights?
heard about baking your headlights and then painting some parts black so it looks like the black house lights (EK) im looking for some more info on this b/c im thinking about doing it....already searched found nothing, need some help here

1 Remove headlights.
2 Bake at 200*for about 5-10 min.
3 Pull lense off.
4 Take off the 2 phillips head screws that hold the chrome housing to the lense.
5 Remove turnsignal chrome piece.
6 Paint chrome housing.
7 Assemble in reverse order.
8 Seal edges with silicone.

a blower dryer?? A blow dryer doesnt even heat past 150 and if it did it'd take you a week to seperate. A heat gun would be a hard *** time.

i used a heat gun once... regreted it... took forever and some parts of the glue would dry as i was pulling it apart.. had to hold it with screwdrivers and stuff... PITA...
