Looks awesome take a pic of the cans you used so we can see what brand and type of paint it is. That would be pretty sweet to test out on some cheap rims if the valve cover looks that good.

The little ones cute. Nice job on the valve cover man. I dont have a kid but I have like 6 neices and nephews and I seen what they can do to you money wise. They drain money from me and their not even mine. LOL.

I was gonna go red.
Here is a pic of the paint
Just glass or beed blast it then I washed it really good couple of times in a hot tank at my work. I then tapped it off and started with. I think you could just blast it and clean it really good with dish soap or some thing like that.
I started with the Rust-oleum Semi gloss Protectant enamel(Anodized bronze.
Then I used the Valsar Satin copper.
Last I sprayed it with the Rust-oleum Metallic copper finish and vuala.
Smacked that bitch on.

The last one is a SWEET color... I'm just glad you didnt make it BLUE like those OBX covers....
You got some good taste.
I was wondering though, will those spray paint in particular hold up under the engine heat? I'm not expereinced with those paint so dont know... I was thinking of doing it on my own....
