Default Paint in winter?

if i get my car painted this winter, will i have any problems with the paint settling or drying? will it be more likely to chip?

not really but alot of painters will tell you they rather paint when its warmer and also the least humid, the better.

if you take it to a body shop or some place like that you will be fine since the booths are heated, etc

True dat they are dry. Just make sure when its painted and cured that its warm. Thats about it. Shouldnt be any problems. Make sure to wax/buff it good before u head it outside.

Just don't let the snow hit it for a while, or at least lay off the snow brush it can put some nice scratches in new paint.

Ask the painter but he will probably tell you this, make sure to let it dry/cure for a week before you dare put wax on it.
