p28 skunk2 chip for D16z6 question?

Default p28 skunk2 chip for D16z6 question?

P28 chipped with skunk2, Bottom end was rebuilt with zc piston,Head is stock with the d16y8 intake manifold, Type R throttle body,cold air,exhaust.What are my power bands? what should i be shifting at? it idles at about 1300 rpm.

Well that's sad but i haven't blown mine(knocking on wood) lol. Bump for what RPM is reasonable to shift.

shift at 6800 or 7000... stock is 7200 for red line... but umm... yeah dyno might help... I blew my motor at 8900

You probably won't make much if any power past 6800ish, so shift there. that S2 chip isn't the best for your setup, but the extra fuel is good temporarily VS a stock program due to the higher CR. I'd say get Hondata or Uberdata & tune it ASAP. I'd also suggest getting a cam that will benefit from the extra compression...

Thank you, that sounds good exactly what i wanted to hear. although i find myself shifting at 7000, and it pulls hard. I can hang with b16's (STOCK) with my single cam for half- the price Yeah boyeee!!

HA HA HA i know what u mean bro, especially when they ask "what you got under their" and you simply say a single cam, Ahhh the rush!!

BTW i heard the b15b2 cam is like the comp cam is this true?
