P28 or P13

P28 or P13
I was wondering in a general point of view which ECU would be better to run with a H22 EG Setup??? I know that the P28 is hondata compatabile whereas I believe the P13 is not. But my main concern isn't the chipping process but the fact that the H22 has IM Secondaries like the GSR and therefore have two stage Vtec set ups. Am I losing power by running the P28 and therefore deactivating the secondaries??? Is it much of a difference?? I love the way the GSR's sound when they're screaming, this is why I'm asking this question. I want mine to sound like those. If I run the P28 and tune it with Hondata could I activate the secondaries through the Hondata Program??? My current setup is the P28.

Re: P28 or P13 (H22JDMEG)
I think all OBD1 computers are (re)programmable, but I'd run the P28 anyway. You should change to the short runners of say a Skunk2 Intake manifold, or the Euro R; thus eliminating the "dual-stage vtec". You just need to get the P28 chipped for your car, if you're interested in this it's pretty cheap flo and the power/reliability you'll gain from your motor vs a P28 computer. If you want to keep it stock, go P13.

Yeah I think it does just like a P07. I would get a P28 and have it chipped then run Uberdata, in the hands of a capable person Uberdata is very reliable and works just as good as Hondata, and is free As for the issue with the secondaries that would be something that you would have to look into a little bit I would think that with all the things you can do with Hondata/Uberdata it would be possible.
