P28 ECU question

P28 ECU question
I have a P28 ecu that's been socketed. I was wondering if I were to put a P13 Spoon chip in it, will it work well and does it still try to look for EGR sensor or any Prelude sensor that is not needed.

Chipped P28 ecu can work with many engines even the K series. You just got to have the right chip or a programmable chip with proper base map. I don't have to the and time to look for the H22 OBD1 base map and I dont have the prom burner so I opted to a quick way with the purchase of the OBDI P13 Spoon chip that have disable O2 sensor, speed gov., and knock sensor.

I've never seen a K run off of a p28</TD></TR></TABLE>
Yeah, me neither, I'm quite sure it's NOT possible, or you wouldn't have to pay almost a grand for K-Pro.
Hrm, which would I rather pay, for the same tuning ability, $130, or $1,000?
I've made up my mind.

You're wrong, a chipped P28 can work with B, F, H, D, etc. The only one I don't think it can't work on is the K - and I have no idea about the R. It's simply that B series swaps are the most common swaps so that's where you most commonly hear of chipped ECU's coming into play. Also, a common mis-understanding is it HAS to be a P28 ECU, it can be ANY OBD-I ECU, just have to socket it then burn the chip.
@ OP:
I'd stay away from that spoon ****, even if it is tuned for your engine, contact THC07 - he's on his 3rd H22 and does chip burning, I'm sure he can hook you up with a good solid basemap for an H22 for a good price.
