I dont THINK it will do any good and might just make it worst. I was running a somewhat stock D15B7 on a chipped P28 for a while and didnt like the performance. Just switched it outtoday for a P06(the recommended ecu) and I noticed the difference instantly. It ran a lot better.

the P28 will remove the need for the wideband that the P07 requires, but will also remove the lean burn mode that makes the VX's mileage so good.
also note, in cali you will fail emissions.
if you're dead set on running the Z1 on a P28, you'll need to convert the wiring to run a standard 4 wire O2 sensor and chip the P28 with the P07 maps (which you an find on pgmfi.org)
