P28 AUTO ECU
 
is a p28 automatic ecu worth anything? can it be use for the same purpose as the p28 manual? ie... rechipped for a bseries. TIA

Good question, I'd like to know too.
I would not be surprised if you could. I drove my civic EX 5sp with Civic DX auto ECU in it for a week with no check engine light or problems.

Many ppl run a chipped p28 for B16A. Including myslef. It provides a little more performance, and has the knock sensor elimanated.

It is worth something, but of course as you mentioned it is for automatic, chipped would convert to manuel, you might also want to have the fuel remapped. Don't have any specs on that, sorry.

yeah thanks guys... i found out after i did a little more searching with the serach function. yes it does work! anyways, i have one for sale 110 bucks shipped.

chipping an autp p28 is easier than the 5 spd one from what i understand. though i haetn done it myself...
