P1259 CEL, 98 Civic Ex
Hi, I've been searching a lot on the web trying to figure out why my car suddenly triggers this CEL. P1259 is "Vtec System Malfuntion" when I put my OBD2 reader in, the car make a weird clicking sound from the motor at around 3k RPM, and won't go pass 4K RPM.
Is it my Vtec Solenoid that I have to replace to get rid of the code and for the car to run properly? I'm just really confused on whats going on with the car...
-Thank You.

That thread has It Wasn't Me going through the diagnostic procedures for that code. Follow his steps, and what he says for fixing the problem.
Before you dive into that, though, check your oil level.
