p08 ecu on d16z6 vtec issues HELP!
Okay i have a couple questions 😕 but before you guys roast me ive done quite a bit of research already and come up with nothing 👍👎
I have a 95 DX Ej2 <-aka eg coupe
With d16z6 swap running on a jdm p08 ecu (d15b) all obd1
So from what i understand the p08 ecu reads a single wire 02 sensor but i have 4 wire on the car (not wired) also i plan to wire my VTEC with the ecu harness plugs from a p28 ecu (are the pins all in same place since its all obd1?) will the p08 ecu read my 4 wire 02 sensor same way as the p28?
Or do i covert to single wire? If so how would i do such a thing?
Hard to find info on p08 ecu they seem rare but for those of you that will say just buy a p28 or chip your p08 or whatever NO because i can use this one for free major reason why these forums exist! Ive seen all these obd1 vtec wiring diagrams but they dont answer these questions either
Any serious help is greatly appreciated and i will answer any and all questions to the best of my abilities

Guess what. You're about to get advice that you don't want to hear. You're about to get this advice, because we do fixes the correct way here. We don't encourage halfassed work, when there is a 100% proper solution.
Your 100% proper solution is to go get a freaking P28 and install it. You already know this is the solution, so we shouldn't have to tell you. If you can't afford a P28, you need to find a new hobby - cars aren't cheap.

Still doesnt answer any of these questions wheather it pertains to my situation or not
Are the pins on the p08 in the same places as the p28? Or are they mixed around in comparison? Could a p28 harness be be used on a p08?

And this is where a modicum of searching effort would have come in. Yes, aside from the 1 wire vs 4 wire O2 sensors, the pinouts are the same. The wiring harnesses (once again, aside from the different O2 sensors) are the same. Next time, put forth at least a LITTLE bit of effort.

You have a 95 DX which is the next best thing to an ex or si.. You need a p28 and this to finish upgrade...
