P06 ecu is for the D15b7 (if i remember correctly). Using a 1.5liter sohc fuel map to run a 1.8liter DOHC motor is not a good idea. That will run it lean.

it will run , it just wont have any power. as said before it will run lean becuase it has different ignition/fuel/timing maps and all that jazz.

so how was the kid i got the car from running the obd II motor on an obd I ecu?? wouldn't that require a conversion harness?? or not?

so if i convert the obd I motor to obd II by changing the crank gear and using my obd II injectors, dizzy, and oil pump i will still need to run off the obd I ls ecu?? will this require a jumper harness?

the only thing you need to run an OBD II car with an OBDI ecu is the conversion harness.

You won't need to swap out all that other crap.

keep in mind that a P06 can be chipped to run a LS as well as the stock ECU or even better. (if highly tuned)
if you're boosted there is a good chance that it's chiped or you'd throw a CEL as soon as you built boost.
