Default p06 chip

hey just wondering if any one knows of an ecu chip for my p06 ecu on my del sol.

are u chipping it for turbo, N/A or just for the hell of it ?

i would suggest u get it chipped by a pro..cause they chip the ecu based on the mods u have or plan to have in the future, on your car.. other than that...a cheapy chip cost around $30 from ebay..shipped to u..

no turbo, just for the hell of it. i heard ebay chips werent that great. any ideas?

Yeah, don't ever get a pre-programmed generic chip. I advise you to look into what chipping really is, before you consider it.

Long story short, you'll only be satisfied with a tune, and even then, this is a P06, the ECU is for a D15B7. Not worth it, from personal experience. You want to buy a P06 ECU "chipped" with a Skunk2?

so your saying its not worth it to chip my ecu at all, and to just buy a p06 skunk?

Buying my "Skunk2" chipped ECU was a joke dude. I had decided to waste my money on a chip for my ECU in the past, and all it did was drop my gas mileage by about 10 mpg. Not worth it IME, and I wouldn't cheat you by trying to sell it to you.
