Default P0505 Idle Control System Malfunction

Hey guys my 99 Si is throwing this code. I erased it but it came back an hour later. How do i got about fixing this? What part should I buy? How much?

Also is it safe to do some minor driving untill i fix it?

your iacv is either dirty or bad. Pull it off and clean it with some carb cleaner and put it back on. If that doesn't fix it than you'll have to buy one and they are fairly expensive.

Just in case you don't know the iacv is located on the back side of the intake manifold. It has 2, 12mm bolts, an electrical connector, and 2 hoses'. pull it off and clean it.
