i got this check ngine light on my 2000 si. but the thing is i had the code with type-r headers. i erased the code and then later on i got a custom piping for the car and the same code appears on the ecu. any suggestions.

what does the code say behind it? might be a oxygen sensro problem?

Secondary O2 sensor says .... your catalytic converter is missing or dead.

had the same code on my accord, turns out the cat was going, but it only happenes if im sitting in traffic for a LONG time just erase it and go on your way https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif

Or just buy a $15 mechanical O2 sensor spoof from eBay.

Hah, no. But the part itself is like $8 at an autoparts store .... so I figure it's worth the extra $5 in shipping to not have to make one yourself. Most people don't have a drill press https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif
